'Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul' will be taped Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 in Los Angeles. The TV special hosted by Tyler Perry will air at a later date in 2019 on CBS. The special will feature songs from Aretha Franklin performed by Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, John Legend and Janelle Monáe, among others. Jack Sussman, CBS EVP, Specials, Music and Live Events, via 'Variety' Franklin died in August at age 76. She won 18 Grammys throughout her career.
