Heavy snowfall and low temperatures froze roads in Weihai City, located in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong, causing a vehicular accident on December 27 as cars slipped and collided into each other.

Due to the icy surface, cars were unable to use their brakes, causing them to go out of control.

Local media reported no casualties and that the accident was being investigated.
