Police caught a runaway horse galloping among vehicles on a busy overpass in eastern China.

The video, shot in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on April 24, shows the three-year-old horse running along the busy road among vehicles.

Another clip shows the horse had been caught and attached to the back of a police car by some rope.

According to the horse's owner, Mr Wang, the animal was in the oestrous cycle and bit the rope to get loose. Wang has taken the horse back home.
