Puppies And Kittens Banned From Being Sold At UK Pet Stores
  • 5 years ago

The UK has banned sales of puppies and kittens in pet stores to protect the animals from exploitation. According to ‘The Huffington Post,’ Britain’s government says the new law will help crack down on “puppy farms.” They add it will make it harder for unscrupulous dealers with little to no regard for animal welfare. People looking to adopt a puppy or kitten will now have to deal directly with a breeder or a re-homing center.
