According to Business Insider, "High generic drug prices almost always stem from a lack of competition, but what drives this lack of competition can vary." That's why many companies are turning to non-profit manufacturers to push profit. Unfortunately, the Generic drug market isn't working the way it should be are. Experts say this basically means there is a chance competition does fail, and generic drug prices become too high.
