U.S. Urges China To Release Detained Canadians

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, the United States urged Beijing to release two Canadians detained in what many have called tit-for-tat arrests following the high-profile arrest of an executive from a major Chinese corporation in Canada. Last week, two Canadians, a businessman and a former diplomat, were detained in China after Canadian police arrested Huawei Technologies CFO, Meng Wanzhou, on December first.
