Mexico Asks For Details From U.S. On Plan For Migrant Asylum Claims

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Mexico's government said that it wanted more details from the United States on its plan to send migrants to Mexico while their asylum claims are processed, while also vowing not to deport people seeking refuge. On Thursday, Mexico reportedly said that it had agreed on humanitarian grounds to accept some non-Mexican migrants sent by the United States to wait in Mexico while the US processed their asylum requests.
