National Assembly to push through 90 pending bills on Friday

Lawmakers continue their regular National Assembly session on Friday,.... where they are expected to push through some 90 pending bills related to the livelihoods of Korean citizens.
The bills include.... stronger laws on daycare centers, as well as measures to protect small business owners, depositors and homeless people.
Lawmakers hope to pass as many bills as they can before the current session ends on December 9th,... after conservative parties agreed to end their boycott over a hiring scandal at Seoul Metro.
During a separate committee session on Friday, the government's 2019 budget proposal,... clocking in at some 4-hundred-17 billion U.S. dollars, will be up for review,... with the legal deadline set for December second.
Also Friday,... a special committee on inter-Korean economic cooperation will hold its first plenary session where related ministries will brief lawmakers on the current situation.
