Good afternoon. Today is Soseol on the traditional calendar. It literally means a little bit of snow, but rather we are seeing a blast of cold air hit the nation. Morning lows in Seoul plunged below freezing,... brace yourself,... readings will go down even further on Friday to minus 4.
The afternoon will be sunny and cool,... hovering around 10 degrees Celsius in most areas... Seoul will only get up to 7 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile a dry weather advisory is in place for some eastern regions including Busan and Ulsan.
The cold snap will ease on Sunday. Next week we'll have much more bearable temperatures, so until then, take good care of yourself to avoid catching a cold.
