According to a report by Reuters, sources claim that French carmaker Renault's board has named an interim chairman and handed new powers to its chief operating officer to replace embattled chief Carlos Ghosn after he was arrested in Japan on suspicion of financial misconduct. Sources claimed that Philippe Lagayette will temporarily take over as chairman, while Chief Operating Officer Thierry Bollore will take on full company officer powers.
