UN committee concerned Japan has not given enough reparations to "comfort women"

A UN committee has said Japan's reparations to the Korean women forced to serve as sex slaves during World War II are not enough.
The Committee on Enforced Disappearances said in a report.... that it is "concerned at the lack of adequate reparations to the victims… and regrets Tokyo's position that the issue "is resolved finally and irreversibly."
It also said that information including the exact number of victims is not enough and that more research and disclosure needs to be done.
A Japanese official to the UN in Geneva said the report only shows one side of the issue, and that Tokyo has lodged a complaint with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
