The UN Committee on Elimination of Racial Discrimination has blasted Japan... over its 2015 ‘Comfort Women’ agreement.with South Korea.
According to Kyodo News, members of the committee, which met for the first time in four years in Switzerland on Thursday local time.
They pointed out that the deal cannot solve the issues of sexual violence against the victims.
Gay McDougall( ), a renowned U.S. human rights activist, expressed a lack of satisfaction over the agreement, criticizing Tokyo’s failure to provide proper compensation and a sincere apology.
