Hillary Clinton recently commented on Georgia's hotly contested and as-yet-uncalled gubernatorial race, reports the Austin American-Statesman.
At a Tuesday event at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, Clinton said of Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams: "If she had a fair election, she already would have won."  Newsweek notes that Abrams is, as of Wednesday morning, just under 60,000 votes behind her opponent Brian Kemp.  At issue are a number of ballots that have gone uncounted due to what two federal judges have determined to be either Civil Rights Act violation or "repeated inaccuracies" in the voter registration process.  Abrams is hoping to force the race to a runoff, which will happen if Kemp drops below the 50% vote threshold needed to declare victory. He currently stands at 50.3%.  Notably, President Trump has made his opposition to that effort known.  He said in a recent tweet: "Brian Kemp ran a great race in Georgia – he won. It is time to move on!"
