Nearly 600,000 students take college entrance exam on Thursday
  • 5 years ago
There is only one day left until the annual college entrance exam.
On Thursday, almost six-hundred-thousand students will be taking the exam at 1-thousand-190 test sites nationwide.
The test will begin at 8:40 in the morning and to make sure students don't have problems getting to the exam venues, extra transportation will be in service for the test-takers, and commuters will start work an hour later than usual.
The country's stock markets will also open and close an hour later.
During the exam, traffic will be controlled around test sites and flights will be put on hold for about 30 minutes in the afternoon to minimize disturbance.
The education ministry said it has inspected facilities in advance and prepared extra vehicles to carry the students in case of a natural disaster.
