The South Korean government says a South Korean man abducted by an unknown group in Libya in early July,... has been confirmed to be safe.
An official at Seoul's foreign affairs ministry told reporters on Monday that the Libyan government confirmed that the man is healthy, and safely detained in the southern part of Libya.
The official did not elaborate on how this was confirmed as the rescue efforts are still underway,... but he said that the ministry has been closely coordinating with the Libyan government to rescue the South Korean national.
