Ordered to Be Held Without Bail A federal judge in New York
made the ruling concerning
Cesar Sayoc on Tuesday. Jane Kim, Assistant U.S. Attorney, via NBC News Sayoc, 56, is accused of sending
more than a dozen pipe bombs
to prominent Democrats and
critics of President Donald Trump. Former President Barack Obama and
Hillary Clinton were among those
who received packages. His charges include
mailing of explosives, At the hearing, Sayoc
answered simply to routine
questions from the judge. After the ruling,
he hugged his court-
appointed lawyer before
being led out of the courtroom. If convicted,
Sayoc faces up to
48 years in prison.
