Announced On Friday, 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc Jr. was arrested in Plantation, FL in connection with the string of mailed explosive devices this week. Attorney General Jeff Sessions
confirmed Sayoc Jr. was charged
with five federal crimes and faces up to
48 years in prison. Some of the charges include
interstate transportation of
an explosive and making a threat against a
former president, among others. Sayoc Jr. sent at least a dozen non-hoax explosive devices to many of Trump’s critics, including the Obama family, the Clinton family, actor Robert de Niro and Senator Cory Booker.
