Amazon's Alexa is getting more life-like.
The smart speaker can now be put into "whisper mode."
The feature can detect when you talk to Alexa in a whisper and will trigger Alexa to whisper back to you.
The option was made available for English speaking Alexa-enabled devices on October 18.
Amazon says the feature is an effort to make Alexa speak more naturally and respond to your cues more intuitively.
