PM Lee calls on biz leaders to aid government’s job creation, investment push

South Korea's Prime Minister says the nation's economy is in limbo due to uncertainties at home and abroad.
Lee Nak-yon used that warning to urge business leaders to contribute to job creation and investment.
Over a business dinner and some makgeolli with top financial and economic leaders of the Korea Employers Federation on Monday, the PM vowed all-out government efforts on deregulation, fostering new industries and labor, as well as improving the work environment before the end of the year.
The Prime Minister also said the ongoing U.S.-China trade war is a serious hurdle for countries like South Korea, which relies heavily on exports.
