NDA Bihar Alliance: BJP-JDU settle for 50-50 seat sharing formula
  • 5 years ago
In the run up to the 2019 general elections, BJP President Amit Shah and JDU Chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar have announced their alliance. Both parties have decided to head for an equal partnership. Amit Shah said the party was confident of winning 2019 polls as well. Sources tell NewsX that minor alliance partner Rashtriya Lok Samta Party may get 2 seats only. Shortly after the alliance announcement, RJD Chief Tejashwi Yadav was seen meeting Upendra Kushwaha from RLSP, giving life to rumours of heading into an alliance of their own. However, Khushwaha has denied aligning with RJD.
