Apple iOS 12.1 Update to Fix 'Beautygate' Issue

Apple iOS 12.1 Update to Fix 'Beautygate' Issue The iPhone-maker has finally admitted that its front camera overly smoothed people's skin in selfies. The issue has been
dubbed, "Beautygate." The Smart HDR feature in the iPhone XS and XS Max was choosing the wrong base frame when taking a selfie. The front camera does not have optical image stabilization, so it takes blurrier shots at the same shutter speed as the rear, stabilized camera. This resulted in a loss of detail that looks like smoothing on the
front camera. Apple will be fixing the bug in its camera system with an iOS 12.1 update. iOS 12.1 is in public beta and
will released soon.
