NewsX has now accessed the FIR filed against Devender Kumar who was arrested by the CBI for falsification of records in the Asthana corruption case. He was investigating the Moin Qureshi case. Raids were carried out at his premises. CBI has recovered some mobile phones, which are been projected as evidence. He has been charged with fabricating a statement of a witness in the Moin Quereshi case. Ever since CBI registered a case of corruption against its special director Rakesh Asthana, the battle between two CBI top officials has turned into a vicious battle. Both director Alok Verma and special director Rakesh Asthana are blaming each other for corruption. Meanwhile, politicization of the top investigating agency has already begun. Rahul Gandhi has taken a dig and said the organization is on a terminal decline.
