During a Q&A session with Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, an audience posed a question to him on whether Umno could be changed to get rid of factionalism. Razaleigh said Khairy Jamaluddin had tried to introduce the approach of opening up the party to other races but he had failed to win in the last party election.
