Over 1,000 People in the US Still Missing After Hurricane Michael

CrowdSource Rescue says 1,135 people in Florida have lost contact with
friends and family. The report comes a week after the hurricane flattened communities across the Florida Panhandle. Most of those missing are from Panama City. Many are elderly, disabled, impoverished or live alone. Michael slammed into the northwest coastal strip of Florida last Wednesday with top sustained winds of 155 MPH. About 35,000 Floridians have called the
Federal Emergency Management Agency
seeking help since then. Nearly 163,000 homes and businesses remain without power in the Southeast.
