The Sabarimala temple in Kerala will open its doors to women of all age groups for the first time at 5 pm after the historic Supreme Court ruling last month that permitted the entry.

సుప్రీంకోర్టు నేపథ్యంలో శబరిమల ఆలయం వద్ద ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితులు నెలకొన్నాయి. మాస పూజల కోసం శబరిమల అయ్యప్ప స్వామి ఆలయం బుధవారం సాయంత్రం నుంచి ఐదు రోజులపాటు తెరుచుకోనుంది. అన్ని వయసుల స్త్రీలను ఆలయంలోకి అనుమతించాలంటూ సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పు వచ్చాక ఆలయాన్ని భక్తుల కోసం తెరవడం ఇదే ప్రథమం.
