Zika virus cases spike in Jaipur, 72 people have been tested positive

At least 72 people have been tested positive for the Zika virus in Jaipur, raising fears the virus is spreading just ahead of peak tourist season, authorities said on Tuesday. The cases reported over a period of 24 days have sent alarm bells ringing in the state and authorities have been taking special measures to contain the outbreak. Union Health Minister JP Nadda chaired a meeting on H1N1 flu and Zika virus in New Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting was held on H1N1 outbreak and to discuss on how to take situation under control.
