Paulo Bento is fast becoming a fan favorite here in Korea.
The new head coach of South Korea's national football team extended his unbeaten start to four games... with a 2-2 draw against Panama in Cheonan on Tuesday evening.
Experimenting with a new lineup, Bento's players got off to a great start with Park Joo-ho scoring his debut international goal after just four minutes.
Hwang In-beom doubled the lead in the 31st minute.
Panama pulled one back before the break... and joy turned to disappointment in the third minute of the second half when the central Americans made it 2-2.
Bento said the draw highlighted the need for South Korea to pick up the pace of their game.
