National Assembly's audit continues for sixth day

We're now into day six of the National Assembly's audit of government ministries and agencies.
Up for debate today is the government's minimum wage hike,... as the labor committee inspects the Minimum Wage Commission.
The ruling party will likely say the double-digit percentage increases for this year and next... were necessary for the government's income-led growth drive to bear fruit,... while the opposition is expected to call for a slow down,... as well as different rates depending on the industry.
In the finance committee audit,... some tempers are expected to flare as rival parties inspect the Korea Public Finance Information.
It's where opposition lawmaker Shim Jae-cheol obtained and allegedly disclosed confidential government documents on the fiscal budget and other state statistics.
As Shim is currently under investigation for the case,... the ruling party said that under the audit act,... he should be excluded from the inspection -- to which the main opposition party strongly objects.
