National Assembly continues with audit of government for second week

The National Assembly is now into its second week of audits of government ministries and agencies.
The statistics agency is likely to face scrutiny in Monday's audit,.... with the opposition expected to criticize the government's economic policies and question whether the recent replacement of the agency's chief came as a result of poor data.
At the audit of the Fair Trade Commission -- rival parties are expected to clash over the regulations on conglomerates.
The ruling party will likely say.... the regulations are needed to ensure a balanced economy,... while the opposition is expected to claim that the policies are eroding firms' global competitiveness.
Other agencies up for inspection include.... the Defense Acquisition Program Administration,... and the food and drug safety ministry.
