The classic recipe is always the best. Keep it simple and enjoy the yummy result!

Ingredients
230 gr butter | 1 cup
225 gr brown sugar | 1 cup
115 gr white sugar | 1/2 cup
1 pkg vanilla sugar
1 pkg baking powder | 1/2 teaspoon
2 eggs
150 gr flour | 1 1/4 cups
260 gr oats | 3 cups
175 gr chocolate chips | 1 cup
a pinch of salt

How to make it
1. Put butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla sugar into a bowl and start mixing it.
2. Add the eggs one at a time.
3. Add baking powder and a pinch of salt to the flour – add that into the batter.
4. Finally, add the oats and chocolate chips and stir until thoroughly mixed.
5. Scoop with a tablespoon a bit from your dough onto a tray. Leave enough space for the cookies to expand.
6. Bake cookies at 160 C / 320 F for about 10-12 minutes. When you see them crack, take them out of the oven.
7. Let the cookies rest for a bit (they’ll fall apart if you try moving them while hot), put onto a cooling rack after a few minutes.
8. Eat those suckers :D

Tips
* If you don't want to use any brown sugar just give normal white sugar. The taste doesn't change much, at least not so much, that you really know there is a difference.
* If you think that your cookies are too thin or not chewy enough add a bit more flour. Try experimenting with the amount of flour until you’re happy with the result. Once I added way too much flour but it was yummy nonetheless.
* Of course, you can add other ingredients as well: ground hazelnuts, walnuts or even almonds can go really well with this kind of cookies. Like I said above: Experiment until you find your poison :D
