According to Reuters, Exxon is exploring the sale of many of its U.S. Gulf of Mexico assets. The news comes as higher oil prices have recently prompted Exxon to review its portfolio. The company is reportedly focusing on other promising oil-rich areas. Guyana, Brazil and the Permian basin of Texas are possible destinations.
