According to CNN, President Donald Trump sought to prevent Stormy Daniels from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with him.
President Trump instructed his attorney at the time, Michael Cohen, to seek a restraining order against Daniels.
During a phone call in February, Trump told Cohen he'd pay for everything.
But that conversation took place months after Daniels signed a non-disclosure agreement and received payment, to remain silent about their alleged affair.
