A government watchdog says that President Trump's 'zero tolerance' border policy "was plagued by a lack of preparation." The review was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General. It's the first official audit of Trump’s policy of separating migrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border. The audit found that hundreds of migrant children were detained for longer than the three-day limit. One child was even held for 25 days, says Reuters.
