Drone footage captured hundreds of vehicles getting stranded in the huge traffic on the first day of the country’s Golden Week.
The video shows vehicles wrapped around the scenic highway near Yading Nature Reserve in Daocheng county in southern Sichuan province.
According to reports, by 16:30 on October 1, the traffic flow on this road had reached 26,150 vehicles and was increasing.
