This adorable pet dog helped its owner building his new house by mixing sand and gravel together with its nose.

The two-year-old Aspin breed named Earl was captured lending a hand on the construction site in Cebu, Philippines, on September 2.

Owner Cheryl Alburo said: ''Dogs really have their own initiatives.

"He was very happy to help us building the home. When he saw what everybody was doing he joined in.''
