Florida Driver Rescued From Car Stuck in Pond

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies and other first responders rescued a man from a car that had exited Interstate 75 near Seffner, Florida, and sunk into a retention pond on Thursday, September 27.Patch reported the driver was able to climb onto the roof of the sunken vehicle and was helped onto dry ground using a ladder.Nicholas Fry, the driver of the vehicle, told WFTS Tampa Bay that he lost control due to the rain-slicked road.
