Air Force chopper rescues 24 people stranded near Chhota Dara in Himachal

Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper on Thursday airlifted 24 tourists, who were stranded at Chhota Dara (between Rohtang pass and Chandratal lake). They have been rescued and brought to Kullu and were rushed to hospital for medical assistance. Rescue operations by IAF are in full swing as they are dropping food packets, relief materials to people stuck in the affected regions of Himachal Pradesh. IAF is inducting two more Cheetah helicopters to assist in rescue and relief operations in the state.
