According to Deadspin, the Boston Red Sox clinched the American League East over the New York Yankees.
The Sox pulled off an 11-to-6 victory at Yankee Stadium, in a back-and-forth game.
But the victory effort was led by MVP candidate Mookie Betts, who batted in five runs off four hits.
Boston now has 104 wins on the season, and if they win three more out of their seven remaining games, they will have the best regular season record in clubhouse history.
