Trees felled, telephone wires destroyed in wake of Storm Ali

Trees lie on their sides and telephone wires are ripped from their posts as strong winds blow during Storm Ali.

Storms and high winds struck the British Isles Wednesday, mostly impacting Ireland and Scotland. Homes were left without power and at least two people died.

One woman died when her caravan was blown off a cliff in the Republic of Ireland and another man was killed when a tree fell on him.
