Seoul's Foreign Minister Kang talks with U.S. State Secretary Pompeo on Monday to share progress on Tuesday's Inter-Korean Summit

With the 2018 Pyeongyang Inter-Korean summit just a day ahead, Seoul is keeping Washington updated on the summit preparations.
The nation's foreign ministry said Monday that minister Kang Kyung-wha phoned U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo earlier in the day to share the preparations being made for the big event tomorrow, and Seoul's latest developments with the North.
Pompeo thanked Kang for her explanation and the two reaffirmed their ironclad cooperation.
