South Korea's Ambassador to the UN Cho Tae-yul says... the Seoul government expects "significant progress"... from the upcoming meeting between the leaders of the two Koreas.
Speaking at an emergency session of the UN Security Council on Monday,... Cho said the summit would reinvogorate the negotiating process between Pyeongyang and Washington.
He also expressed hopes... that sanctions implementation and engagement could work in tandem... to help build trust with the North.
Earlier in the emergency meeting,... the U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley claimed... that Russia was violating UN resolutions on North Korea.
