'Beached whale' in middle of Madrid baffles residents

Madrid residents were left baffled after a hyper-realistic whale was found beached in a pond in the city centre.
Footage captured today (September 14) shows the realistic whale lying on its side near the Segovia Bridge as people in white overalls examine the animal.
The 15-meter-long behemoth is actually an art installation by a Belgian collective intended to start a conversation about the environment.
"It’s meant to get people thinking, through art, about the kind of city they want to live in and what sort of part they can play in looking after the environment,” said Madrid's city council.
