Nicki Minaj Has yet to Pay Geoffrey Owens a Dime Nicki Minaj recently pledged to help 'Cosby Show' actor Geoffrey Owens, who was down on his luck and working at Trader Joe's. Minaj announced on her
Queen Radio show that
she would gift Owens with
$25,000 to help him out. According to sources close to the
situation, Minaj and her team have not
yet handed over any money or even gotten
in contact with Owens for that matter. However, TMZ reports that Owens
is not looking for a hand out, and if Minaj did end up giving him money he would likely donate it
to charity. Owens has had much recognition since being found at Trader Joe's. The actor has joined Tyler Perry's
'The Haves and the Have Nots' and
landed a gig on 'NCIS: New Orleans.'
