Indian Air Force Vice Chief Air Marshal, Shirish Baban Deo on Wednesday batted for the Rafale aircrafts. Speaking on the Rafale deal, he said, "I shouldn't comment but I can tell how everything about the Rafale deal went, we find people don't have information. We're waiting for the aircraft. Rafale is beautiful and capable aircraft." Further he responded to manufacturing of Tejas by private sector as HAL is taking too long. He said, "I do. I personally do. The Air Force policy is that anything comes to us quickly and money stays in our country, that's what is required. It is not necessary to know whether the money is with the DPSU (Defence Public Sector Undertakings) or with private company. As long as the money stays in the country, the investment is in the country and aircraft comes out quickly, why should we refuse it?"
