Tropical Storm Gordon Spins Towards Gulf Coast

Tropical storm Gordon whipped the southern tip of Florida with high winds and rain on Monday morning. Officials said the unpredictable storm was forecast to gain strength as it passed over the Gulf of Mexico toward Louisiana. According to Reuters, Gordon is expected to drop as much as 8 inches of rain in some areas accompanied by winds of 45 miles per hour.
