Brisbane cafe serves coffee with selfies of customers
  • 6 years ago
A Brisbane cafe is taking coffee art to the next level by printing customers' faces on their drinks. The selfie coffee or "selfieccino" is a unique twist on regular coffee. First a photograph is snapped and then it gets uploaded to an app synced to a special food printer. It's part of a growing trend, where social media is influencing how cafes present their food and beverages. Facebook has more than two billion active users logging onto the site each month
and Instagram has about a billion. It's no wonder small businesses are constantly looking for ways to get noticed on social media.
