Bank of Korea holds monetary policy meeting to announce interest rates

In a widely expected move…the Bank of Korea has kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged at one-point-five percent for August.
This came during its sixth monetary policy meeting in 2018.
The central bank has been maintaining its key rate since November last year... when it raised the rate by a quarter percentage point.
