Fans of soul legend Aretha Franklin queued patiently to pay their final respects at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit on Tuesday, August 28.This video shows the line of fans waiting outside the museum to see the American singer lying in her golden casket. Franklin, who grew up in Detroit, was dressed head-to-toe in red, including red high heels, for the two-day event, CBS News reported.Franklin died in Detroit on August 16 this year after battling pancreatic cancer.Franklin’s body was scheduled to lie in honor for public visitation from 9 am to 9 pm on Tuesday, August 28, and Wednesday, August 29, the Detroit Free Press reported.
