Bolton: US Concerned About China Besides Russia, Iran And North Korea Over 2018 Election Meddling

John Bolton addressed 2018 election meddling in an appearance with ABC News.

National Security Adviser John Bolton has warned that four countries could potentially try to interfere in the 2018 U.S. elections--Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.
He made the admission during a Sunday interview with ABC News' Martha Raddatz who asked him about a message President Trump had tweeted the day before, stating, "All of the fools that are so focused on looking only at Russia should start also looking in another direction, China. But in the end, if we are smart, tough and well prepared, we will get along with everyone!"
When Raddatz asked Bolton about the threat China poses, he answered, "I can say definitively that it's a sufficient national security concern about Chinese meddling, Iranian meddling and North Korean meddling that we're taking steps to try and prevent it, so it's all four of those countries, really."
While he refused to go into further detail, he reiterated, "Looking at the 2018 election, those are the four countries that we're most concerned about."
This is not the first time Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea have been cited as potential threats to this year's midterms. CNN reported in January that Senate Democrats had released a report pointing out the intelligence community's concerns about all four potentially meddling in U.S. elections.
Meanwhile, there has been speculation that Trump is taking a more hardline stance against China in an effort to curtail its growing power in the world.
