President Donald Trump weighed in on a criminal trial as the jury considered a verdict on Friday.
According to Reuters, he called the tax and bank fraud case against Paul Manafort “very sad."
He also praised his former campaign chairman as a “very good person.”
Manafort is charged with bank fraud and tax fraud.
His bail was revoked when he was accused of witness tampering.
